Hide And Seek/ Godsend/ What Lies Beneath

Three films. Hide And Seek - Imaginary friends can sometimes seem so real... For young Emily Callaway, her games of Hide and Seek with an imaginary friend named Charlie have become anything but simple and innocent. She finds herself in the middle of a series of increasingly nightmarish acts that even her father David (Robert De Niro) cannot stop. Who - or what - is Charlie? Could he actually be real... if so, he must be stopped. Godsend - Married couple Paul and Jessie find their happiness destroyed by the death of their son, Adam, in a car accident. They are approached by Jessie's old science professor, Dr Wells, who offers them the chance to rebuild their lives. He offers to take a cell from their dead son and implant it into Jessie's womb, so the couple can give birth to a son genetically identical to Adam. Despite having to deal with the secrecy and moral issues involved the couple agree and the process produces a new son, David, who begins to grow and mature as expected. The problems begin when David reaches the age at which his clone died. He becomes haunted by visions of burning children and suffers frightening premonitions of murder. What Lies Beneath - With their daughter grown up and off to college, Norman and Clair Spencer move to a new house near a Vermont Lake. But while Norman, a busy research scientist, is away at work, Claire finds it hard to adjust to her new home. First she begins to suspect that her new neighbour has murdered his wife then she starts to see and hear things that suggest the house is haunted. Norman advises her to see a psychiatrist, but Claire is determined to find evidence to prove that her experiences are real.

The New Bomb Turks have been declared leaders in the 1990?s US punk rock revolution. Their debut album, Destroy Oh Boy, came out in 1993 to universally great reviews. The band scored another winner the next year with Information Highway Revisited, the record again made them critical darlings. Eventually mini-major Epitaph asked them to join their roster. Their last Epitaph release (Nightmare Scenario) would hit stores by 1999. The Night Before the Day the Earth Stood Still, was released by US indie Gearhead in 2002. After 12 years of recording and touring the band have taken a hiatus since 2005, but still occasionally play live to their ever-adoring fanbase. The band built their following as a live act, and ?Reigning On Edinburgh? shows why, with a great show from their UK tour of 1994.
