Rainforest Rhapsody

Rainforest Rhapsody : short review

Rainforest Rhapsody

Join this musical journey through the magnificent forests and wetlands of the extinct Mount Warning volcano situated on the New South Wales and Queensland border of Australia's East coast. As the Sun rises we begin our journey from the pounding ocean, the source of life giving moisture, to the cloud capped peaks. In this 70-minute soundscape we follow the stream of life from the lush rainforests and breathtaking waterfalls, down the Eucalypt forest where Pretty Faced Wallabies graze. After descending from the valleys we flow gently into the mangroves and wetlands, where water dragons and wetland birds search for their last meals of the day. Accompanied by the music of Handel, Bizet, Grieg, Elgar, Borodin, Satie and other master composers, performed by the West Australian, Tasmanian, Queensland, Melbourne and Sydney Symphony Orchestras.
