One And Only, The

Kitchen designer Neil and his wife Jenny are preparing to welcome a new addition to their home. The couple have agreed to adopt five-year-old orphan Mgala from Burkino Faso, and both hope parenthood may be just the thing to rekindle their ailing marriage, and stop Jenny criticising everything that Neil says or does. Within hours of Mgala's arrival, Jenny is killed in a freak traffic accident, leaving Neil to bring up the girl alone. Operation Petticoat

The USS Sea Tiger is in serious trouble and the skipper (Cary Grant) and his junior officer (Tony Curtis) scavenge for parts and supplies to make the submarine seaworthy. During an enemy air attack they are forced out to sea prematurely and as they limp along taking in water they encounter five stranded army nurses. The girls come aboard and take over the renovation of the submarine... and the sub ends up a blushing pink!
