Jesse Malin - Star Smile Strong

Best known for his Ryan Adams produced album 'The Fine Art of Self Destruction' and his celebrity fans (Bruce Springsteen, Shane McGowan etc.), Jesse has destroyed the myth that singer/ songwriter music is no longer coherent. 'Star Smile Strong' is the representation of Jesse's live act, directed and filmed by Dave Stekert. It was recorded in New York (Irving Plaza, Virgin records, Don Hills) and Newcastle (The Cluney). The programme features a mixture of the best of both albums and a cover of Neil Young's 'Helpless'.
